History & meaning
The second syllable does the interesting work. 潤 is water on the left and an enclosure on the right, and it means to moisten, to enrich, to make something glossy and fertile; the modern word for profit is built on it. 允 means sincere, or to grant and permit, and reads as straightforwardness rather than abundance. 尹 is older still, a title of office in ancient China and Korea, roughly a governor. A family choosing among them is choosing between a life made fertile, a life lived honestly, and a life of consequence, and all three are ordinary registrations.
Two footnotes matter here more than on most Korean names. First, 윤 is overwhelmingly familiar to Koreans as the surname Yoon, so a Doyun's second syllable is doing something unusual for that sound — it is a given-name element, not a family name in disguise. Second, an increasing share of South Korean parents register a boy in hangul alone and record no hanja whatsoever, at which point 도윤 is simply a sound the family liked and the character discussion is moot. Why parents choose it
Sound, mostly. Doyun is built almost entirely out of sonorants — no stops after the initial d, nothing to clip the flow — and that liquid quality is exactly what the current Korean naming taste is chasing. It also lands in English without damage, which matters to families who expect the child to be introducing himself in two languages.
Middle names for Doyun

Famous Doyuns
There is a real generational reason the answer here is short. Korean men in public life today were named in the 1960s, 70s and 80s, when the fashion ran to Jung-hoon, Dong-hyun and their cousins; Doyun belongs to a naming wave that only crested in the last fifteen years. Its bearers are in primary and secondary school, and the name is currently far more visible on a nursery register than on a cast list. Give it two decades.
Consider instead
Dohyun takes the same first syllable somewhere more formal. Siwoo has the identical airy shape and has topped the same registry lists. Hajun keeps the softness but ends on a firmer beat.
